Ambience

This ongoing series combines experimental light-based visuals with original ambient soundscapes, creating audiovisual works centred around atmosphere, stillness, and perception.

The sound is developed as an extension of the visual work, with its darker ambient character helping to shape the overall atmosphere and emotional quality of each piece. Rather than simply accompanying the visuals, the sound becomes another element through which the work can be experienced, creating a space that can feel removed from the everyday; inviting moments of reflection, meditation, or simply a chance to slow down.

Rather than conveying a fixed narrative or meaning, these works are open to interpretation, allowing the relationship between light and sound to evoke something different for each viewer.
